Honest reasons to work here
The problem is real and underserved
This problem is already solved โ if you are big enough. Spend enough with suppliers and an audit firm will comb your invoices once a year and find what drifted. Everyone else gets the same drift with nobody looking. We think the check should run continuously rather than annually, and reach a team with 200 suppliers as readily as one with 20,000.
You see results directly
You're not working three layers away from the outcome. When the finance analyst finds a โฌ43,000 overbilling that's been running for 18 months, the whole team knows. The feedback loop is short.
The stack is small and intentional
No microservices sprawl. No legacy code we're embarrassed about. We built the first version fast to learn what customers needed, and now we're rebuilding the right parts properly.
Real influence on what gets built
You're not waiting for someone else's roadmap to implement. As a small team, the people working on the hardest problems have direct input on priorities, architecture, and what we build next.
Four positions, all full-time
Product Engineer (Backend)
You'll work on the core matching engine โ the part that reads invoice PDFs and contract terms and decides whether they match. Most of the interesting problems are around document parsing, probabilistic matching, and handling the messiness of real-world supplier data.
You've built data pipelines or document processing systems before. You're comfortable with Go or Node.js. You don't need finance experience, but you shouldn't be afraid to read a vendor contract to understand what we're actually checking.
Sales Engineer
You're the person who gets on the scope call with a CFO and works out what data they have, what we can find in it, and what the audit will actually cover. You run demos. You help customers prepare their data upload. You answer the technical questions before and after the sale.
Finance background helps a lot here. You're comfortable talking through invoice data, ERP exports, and contract terms with a non-technical finance team. Customer-facing experience in B2B SaaS is a plus.
Finance Operations Analyst
When a finding comes out of the matching engine, someone has to review it before we hand it to the customer. That's this role. You read the contract, you read the invoice, you check our calculation, and you write the draft recovery query. You're the last line of quality control before anything goes to a CFO.
You've worked in finance, AP, or procurement. You know what a vendor contract looks like and you've dealt with supplier invoices in real life. You're detail-oriented in the way that matters: you actually notice when the rate doesn't match the order form.
Partnerships Lead
We want SopiSafe to live inside the workflows our customers already use. That means relationships with ERP vendors, accounting software companies, and consulting firms who serve the same CFOs we do. This role builds those. It's part business development, part technical integration scoping.
You've done B2B partnerships or channel sales before. You understand how ERP and accounting software ecosystems work, at least at a high level. You're comfortable talking to both technical and commercial stakeholders at a vendor.
